SPONSORSHIP
Our attendees are hands-on practitioners and company executives who specifically focus on Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing. Our South Florida chapter email list has over 1,000 names of those who are employed at over 200 companies.
Chapter meetings are held four times each year at various locations. The Chapter arranges for speakers and breakfast for each meeting. All expenses are paid by the chapter from the sponsor membership payment to TDWI.
The chapter provides each sponsor with a table – usually six feet – where sponsors can place any handouts or giveaways they have. Sponsors must bring their own tablecloth as the venue doesn’t usually provide one. Depending on the meeting,there are usually anywhere from 50 to 150 attendees.
Because TDWI does not allow us to share attendee information with sponsors, all attendees who wish to participate in a prize drawing have agreed to share their information thru their business cards. Each sponsor is requested to bring a prize (or prizes) with a total minimum value of $100 to each meeting. Some bring a single gift, others bring multiple gift cards or gifts. What a sponsor brings is up to them. After the meeting, the chapter copies the cards and sends them to each sponsor who has provided a prize.
